Who is responsible (controller)

Data we do NOT collect
Your planner content (tasks, goals, moods, meals, finances, diary and everything else) is stored in your device's own storage when you use the app without an account. It is not transmitted to us. The app itself contains no analytics, no advertising networks, and no cross-site tracking.
Website analytics (consent only)
On this website we use Google Analytics 4, but only if you click 'Allow analytics' in the consent banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), withdrawable at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back. If you decline, no analytics scripts load at all. When enabled, GA processes usage data (pages viewed, approximate location from a truncated IP, device type); Google LLC acts as processor, with transfers to the US covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and SCCs. We have IP anonymization enabled and do not use Google Signals or ads features.
Data we process, and why
Website hosting: our hosting provider processes technical server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) to deliver pages and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept only as long as the host's standard rotation.
Preferences: your theme and sound choices are stored in your own browser (localStorage). They never leave your device and are not tracking.
Optional account and sync: if you sign up, we process your email address and the content you choose to sync, to provide the sync service. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Your diary is end-to-end encrypted; we cannot read it.
Payments (Plus): handled by a payment processor; we receive confirmation of payment status, never your card details. Legal basis: contract.
Support email: if you write to us, we process your message to answer it. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Processors and transfers
We use a small number of service providers under data processing agreements: hosting (Vercel), database and authentication for optional sync (Supabase), and a payment processor for Plus. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, transfers rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We will keep this list current here.
Retention
Account data is kept until you delete your account; synced content is deleted with it. You can export everything at any time from the app, and local data is removed by erasing it in the app or uninstalling.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), data portability (20), and objection (21), plus the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Email support@taskplannera.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly process their data.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date, and note material changes in the app.
